The Adult Cook’s role is to supervise, assist, instruct and encourage student cooks, under the direction of the Kitchen Manager.
Adult’s must have general cooking knowledge, ability to read recipes, and a love of youth. They should have a passion and desire to share in the importance of learning cooking skills and healthy eating with the Student Cook’s.
Adult volunteers must be available for their entire shift, and will sign up for shifts based on their availability.
Adult Cooks must attend a Kitchen Sanitation Safety class prior to working in the kitchen.
Monday, 12:30 pm- 2:30 pm
Tuesday, 9:30 am- 11:30 pm and 3:15 pm -5:30 pm
Wednesday 3:15 pm – 5:30 pm
Thursday 3:15 pm – 5:30 pm
Summer: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
